With a Bachelor's Degree in Consumer (Food) Science, Amanda is qualified as a Home Economist. She has worked in-house for large food companies, and over the years, has continued to honed her skills working in kitchens as a cook and caterer.

Amanda has travelled and cooked throughout Europe and Asia. She studied Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and lived in London working along side prominent photographers, stylists, directors and celebrity chefs, including Jamie Oliver.
